Plot Twist
There are sooooo many different types of movies out there - Action, RomComs, Thrillers...and then there are the unquestionably bad movies. When you're a movie-lover or a cinematic, you recognize that sometimes you just genuinely enjoy a terrible movie if for no other reason than the fact that it's terrible. For our Plot Twist podcast, we spend our time in the realm between the 2 - Movies that are viewed as terrible, but shouldn't be! In fact, we argue how they're Underrated or Undervalued. Are we right? Make sure you Vote to tell us which was the Best Movie, and which was the Worst Movie for each Season.
The full Audio versions are available in podcast form, but we also provide Video samplers, because we want you to be able to see the same trailers that we're seeing before diving into a movie. You can still hear the trailers in the podcast, but we have the visual aid available to make a bigger impact.

Where it's Been, and where it's Going
If you're a true Movie-Lover or Cinephile, you know that not all movies are created the same, and that's most of the fun! Everyone has those movies they love, not because they're good, but because they get their entertainment value from being horrendous! It could be the horrible acting, the terrible lighting, the complete void of plot, or the "special effects" that look like they were made with a $4.13 budget and a staff of elementary schoolers...but that's what makes them so great! Everyone has those movies they know, but you don't really get to talk about them or hear others talk about the terrible movies they love....until now!
Plot Twist is a ridiculously fun Podcast to make, because not only do we get to talk about movies we find to be Underrated or Undervalued, but we get to poke holes in the plots and the quality of the movies everyone else brings up! In fact, this series started after a few conversations over the past few years where Andy "Rofl House" Joslin kept talking about how amazing Evil Alien Conquerors is as a movie. Every time he would bring it up, Mark with a C would roll his eyes and sigh, knowing that it was a horrendous movie inside and out, but that nothing you could say would ever stop Andy from loving the movie. After starting SweetHart Entertainment, these conversations came up as an idea for a podcast, and there was no looking back from there!
The fun part of this podcast is that everyone has their own definition of what a "bad" movie is, and they have drastically different types of movies they bring to the table to defend. SweetHart's bad movies go back to family nights growing up, where they were forced to watch Sci-Fi Original movies. Mark with a C's definition of bad comes from looking at what other people rated movies, and seeing what good movies weren't rated well. Andy's definition of a "bad" movie is...well it looks like most peoples' definition, but he's not backing off when it comes to fervently defending these movies!
We're excited to continue making episodes of this podcast, and can't wait to see how people react when the community starts to get built up around this idea. We're looking forward to people Commenting and telling us that they agree with our movie choices, and that we brought up a true diamond in the rough! We're also looking forward to see which person wins the Worst Movie award for each Season, because an argument could be made that everyone equally deserves the award, but we can guarantee the person who wins that elusive award won't ever hear the end of it!
