Florida vs. The World
Florida has a reputation for having the craziest, most ridiculous people in the world, but is it true? Florida vs. The World is a podcast that aims to shed light on the answer to that question. Each performer talks about a news story from a region of the world, and SweetHart always represents Florida. Can another state or country dethrone Florida as the worldwide Capital of Crazy? First we need you to watch or listen, and then we need you to Vote and tell us! We give out multiple Awards at the end of each Season entirely based on your votes.
For our podcasts, we have the full audio available via the Podcasts above, but we also have Video samplers that summarize the episode if you want to tune in, but can't listen to the full podcast. We try to make sure any visuals show up in the sampler as well, so you can see what everyone is reacting to.

Where it's Been, and where it's Going
Florida vs. The World was actually one of our earliest ideas when our earliest team of Creative Contributors came together after the start of SweetHart Entertainment as a company. With SweetHart being from Florida, and the comedic stories of #floridaman going wild on Social Media, the idea came from an obvious question at the time - Is Florida the unquestioned worldwide Capital of Crazy, or were there any crazier regions in the world? It seems like there are crazy stories coming out of every country, but Florida's stories always seemed next-level, so there was only one way to find out - Find the craziest stories we could find, and put them on a podcast together to see which ones sounded crazier!
From SweetHart's point of view, this was going to be a walk in the park, because Florida is never short on crazy stories, but the early episodes proved a couple things. 1) It proved that our Creative Contributors were able to bring some serious competition; and 2) This proved to be way more fun than we anticipated. If nothing else, talking about crazy people in a podcast helped us feel a lot less crazy, and really helped us think "You know what, things aren't that bad".
As we continue making episodes, we hope that we're able to build a community of people who love the Florida vs. The World podcast. We hope that each of our Series is able to build an overlapping community, but specifically Florida vs. The World, because it's a podcast that's very good at spreading laughter, which is one of the main goals of all of our content. We want to spready laughter & positivity to those in our close circles, because life can be really tough, and adversity can come out of nowhere, completely toppling what you thought your future would look like. There are no greater pictures of this than what Covid-19 has done over the past year and a half. We truly believe that people are at their best when they're positive, happy, and seeing the good out of life, so we generate a lot of our content with that major goal in mind - To improve the life of others through laughter.
