2 Lies & a Truth

2 Lies & a Truth is a Game Show-type YouTube Series we recently started filming, and it's immediately becoming one of our favorites! A spin on the classic "Get to know you" game 2 Truths & a Lie, our performers all answer the same questions, but they never know which will show up until they're read off live. From there, it's just putting on a straight-face and avoiding suspicion. Easy, right?

This is our first episode, and it starts with some strooooooong opinions! We quickly realize we can't trust anyone in this series

For Episode 2 we invite Katy back as our guest, and quickly learn that we can't trust anyone to not throw us under the bus...

For Episode 3, we bring on a new guest for some fresh takes, but we quickly realize he's not anymore trustworthy than we are!

Episode 4 asks the real questions and attacks one of the biggest stereotypes of Millennials

Where it's Been, and where it's Going

Summer camps, new hire orientations, or any other type of networking always have these "Get to know you" types of icebreaker games, and one of the most famous ones is 2 Truths & a Lie, where you give people 3 facts about yourselves, and everyone else is supposed to figure out which one is the lie. It's a fun way to get to know other people, especially when you've done a lot in life, so you can paint a veeeeeeery thin line between Truth & Lie. I can't even remember how many times I've had to play this game, but it was enough to where I could remember my 3 statements I would always use, and I used to love throwing people off with my lie.

The beginning of this show was from a brainstorming session where the memory of this game came up. We were thinking of shows we wanted to start and build, and we had a few ideas for Game Show styled series, but which one would be relatable while letting us be creative? Well, it didn't take long for a bunch of comedians and actors to gravitate towards the idea that allowed them to utilize their creativity while also letting them try to play off ridiculous statements as someone else's, so we gave 2 Lies & a Truth a dry-run, and immediately found it to be a ton of fun.

After filming a few episodes, we realized a couple things - First, the Truths that came up were mostly more blasphemous than the Lies, and Second, you can't trust anyone in this game! Episode 3 really highlighted this in the early run of Season 1 when after the episode, SweetHart could no longer trust Jared, and Andy would likely never trust SweetHart again either! We've started realizing that the reactions when finding out the truth or finding out someone was lying are the moments we love to see, especially like Mark with a C's reaction to the 2nd question of Episode 2. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go check out some episodes!

As always, we're hoping to continue creating more and more series, and continue filming more episodes of the Series we've started, but we need your help! We want to continue and grow, which means we need more involvement and more feedback!
